Powerful exhales and contractions to release excess energy.
While standing up, inhale and stretch your arms out wide to the side. Retain the breath while slowly squeezing the arms in, as if you were closing a heavy door. Then exhale powerfully through the mouth, and release.
The tension in this exercise initially stimulates your body's natural 'fight or flight' response, releasing pent-up energy. The rhythm and slow breath then gradually shifts you back towards stillness state, helping to reduce stress and restore balance.
Keep your movements slow and controlled to focus on the physical sensation of release.
Visualize releasing a bit of stress or tension on each exhale, creating more space for relaxation.
